South Korea’s SK Telecom partners with Aptos and Atomrigs Lab to develop cryptocurrency wallet


SK Telecom, South Korea’s largest mobile operator, is working with Aptos and Atomrigs Lab to develop a web3 wallet service called T wallet.

The South Korean telecommunications company said in a statement today postal LinkedIn stated that the three-party cooperation aims to strengthen connections with customers’ preferred mainnet and decentralized applications – with a focus on T Wallet.

SK Telecom noted that the partnership with Aptos will be the first non-Ethereum Virtual Machine blockchain integration.

“We will also deliver tangible value to users by connecting to the promising dApp ecosystem in Aptos. By leveraging the innovative MoveVM blockchain technology powered by Aptos, this integration represents a great example of making Web3 services more accessible to a wider range of users. A major advance in audience usage.”

SK Telecom partnered with CryptoQuant last month to launch T wallet, a wallet product designed to allow users to access blockchain-based applications on their phones to store tokens.

In August, SK Telecom collaborated with Polygon Labs to develop the web3 ecosystem.
